What goes into a New Year gift box?

Dates open the box: Moroccan Medjool for natural sweetness, filled with pistachio, walnut or ginger for the piece that stands out. Around them sit the roasted nuts — almonds, cashews, savoury or sweet mixes — then dried fruit, chocolate treats and artisan honeys. It is a composition that goes on the table and gets shared, rather than a gift that stays in a cupboard.

Guermello does not sell one fixed "New Year box": compositions are built from the real products in the shop, sold by weight from 250 g at a price shown per 100 g, or from the gift showcase whose prices are published. For a gift that has to land, the Prestige boxes and the large round platters are the formats most given at year-end.

Family New Year, corporate New Year

For a celebration or a family visit, the mid-size format — a date and nut platter, a bowl assortment, a date box — travels well, presents well, and covers both sweet and savoury tastes.

For a company, year-end is the peak period: gifts for staff, clients and partners, often in runs of 50 to several hundred units, sometimes with a card or wrapping carrying the company name. In that case order early — allow several weeks for a personalised run — and ask for a quote: the team replies within 48 h with a priced proposal.

Ordering for New Year from Morocco (and into Morocco)

The date is fixed — 1 January — so preparation is simple: allow two to three days for a box from the catalogue, and several weeks for a personalised corporate run. The last week of December is the busiest of the year, so order before 20 December to be delivered without pressure.

Delivery runs across Morocco via Turboliv within 24–48 h in the main cities, with cash on delivery, and is free from 600 MAD. You can also collect from our Casablanca (9 Av. Ahmed Charci) and Rabat (Dar Essalam Market, stand MS 16) stores. Our workshops hold the ONSSA certificate (since 2022).
