A festive gourmet gift is a box or platter of dried fruit, nuts and treats given for a celebration — year-end, Eid Mubarak, a birth, a wedding or a national holiday. Guermello has composed such gifts since 1994 with nuts roasted by hand in Morocco, making a present that is local, generous and easy to share.
The celebrations that call for gourmet gifts
Year-end and New Year first: dates, caramelised mixes and boxes of treats are given to family, friends and teams. Eid Mubarak and religious celebrations call for dates and dried fruit, in the tradition of the Moroccan table. Births, christenings, weddings and national holidays complete the calendar of occasions.
These pages intentionally carry no dates: religious feasts move every year. The reflex is always the same — as soon as the date is known, order two to three days ahead, and earlier in peak periods.
What makes up a festive gift
Three families of products cover every celebration: dates (Medjool, stuffed, Ajwa), roasted nuts and mixes (salted, caramelised, chocolate-coated), and Moroccan treats — almond amlou, honeys, sellou.
